How Often Should I Exercise

Well simply, it doesn’t matter to an extent. You should try for some sort of movement daily - walking, light jog etc. But to workout and to see results you should think about your goals.

Are you trying to loose weight?

Trying to grow more strength and muscle?

or are you prepping for an event or a specific goal?

These are all factors into how often you should exercise. And yes, time contraints are always a setback and hurdle, but priotising at least 3 strength sessions a week, will give you results that you are after. As long as you stick to a plan involving training near to failure and processing on the weights. And of course the most important, eating correctly. You can’t out train a bad diet. That’s something I have had to learn along the way myself.

In a week, you should be aiming for almost everyday of at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, and a few stregth sessions, to not just build muscle but to maintain. Even if you don’t want to become the next bodybuilder. Having a good muscle foundation will hugely help you in your day to day life and into your older age.
